Phil & Ted Carrier Review

You don’t have to let having a baby stop you! Get back out into nature! This bag is also ideal for not only backpacking adventures, but our afternoon sunset beach walks, and even trips to the Farmers Market!

We’ve been out on the trail since as soon as I could get myself back out there. First, starting off with our Beco Gemini baby carrier. I’ll probably do my own review of this product as well in some time. This was only viable for shorter day hikes, in the earlier mornings, evenings or in a more shaded areas.

Once our little sunshine was ready for longer hikes, we decided to look into other options to upgrade into a more structured backpack carrier for our hiking, backpacking, and travels. We found the Phil & Teds Escape Child Carrier that works great for us. We have taken it all over Yosemite, Oregon, Zion National Park (even the Narrows, Angels Landing, and the Subway hikes), it’s been put to the test and held strong.
